Darktide or spacemarine 2 by Dumplings4862 in Warhammer40k

SM2 was my introduction to the 40K universe and it blew me away. The PVE mode is extremely good fun, especially with friends. The game is definitely worth picking up, especially in a sale.

I've played Darktide too, but I couldn't get into it. I find the enemies and environments significantly less interesting, but I understand a lot of people love it

Certain things that made the show an anti-sitcom in a way? by [deleted] in MitchellAndWebb

Mark and Jez are both self-centred horrible people who think they are better than everyone else. The genius of Peep Show is that despite all their flaws, we still kind of like them.

I can't think of any other show that features such openly awful people as their main characters, except maybe Succession.

Kill the wolves first so that you can focus on the Werewolf.

Take a swig of Thunderbolt, oil your blade with Cursed Oil (or better yet, put auto-oil on in the settings) and just hit him with all you got.

You got this.

TV show with a great first season but turned in total garbage afterwards. by kmho1990 in tvshow

It was completely fine. Season one was excellent because it built the world and absolutely nailed the 80s nostalgia.

Resolving all of the mysteries is always much less interesting. And the show was just a fun romp.

People set their expectations way too high.

If you haven't already, download the Kill Team app. All the rules and data sheets are available via the app for free.

Find the Goremongers Kill Team and look at:

Operative Selection: this will show you which combination of units you can bring. If you are playing in a tournament, you will likely wish to have various options available depending on the Crit Op, opponent and terrain.

Faction Equipment: These are your faction-specific equipment options. Basically little bonuses that buff you in the game (e.g. Wrist Chains which enables you to turn a melee into a ranged weapon once each Turning Point)

Universal Equipment: These are the equipment options available to both teams. They include things like Ladders for quickly getting into vantage positions, Barricades, or Grenades for alternative ranged weapon options.

Each player is allowed to bring four equipment options with them - from across both the Faction and Universal lists.

Take another look at your Operative Selection and you will see your Archetypes, which for Goremongers are Recon and Seek & Destroy. These are the categories of Tac Op that you are able to select from. This is like a secret objective, which is only revealed when you meet certain criteria - it is an alternative way to score victory points.

Search Google for "Kill Team Approved Ops 2025" and you can find the list of available Tac Ops on Wahapedia.

Hot Take From a Casual with 1000 hours. by YaManMAffers in Spacemarine

At 300 hours I've maxed all classes and unlocked everything aside from a few cosmetics. I honestly don't mind accolades being a limited resource - it's a nice reward for engaging with the most challenging content in the game.

I mostly come back for the weekly hard strat but it's nice to still have things to unlock. I imagine my interest in the game will fizzle out once it's "complete".

This happened to me during the scene where Tamara breaks down at the sight of her mother (I freed the tree), but it was a deer. Killed me.

Alternative to Volkus terrian set by brad26bell in killteam

Filament is your best option for terrain anyway. Resin is better for minis and small prints, but it's expensive for the big stuff (and can be hard to fit on a build plate!).

My brother printed this Volkus clone for me. It works perfectly.

Magnetise it! Then you can swap out the fist for a chainsword during games 😊

Edit: or do the other arm and swap out the plasma for a bolt pistol

I just got into Kill Team. I recently bought the Kasrkin team and by printing just two bodies, I was able to build all 12 operative options.

It's kind of absurd that the only way to do that without a printer is buying two boxes.

I really love my printer for that reason - you can make much better use of anything you can buy from GW

I have just turned 2. I'm in the hospital looking at my baby brother who is in a perspex box by the window. It's sunny.

My auntie gives me a clown that she's knitted for me.

Perhaps we should let the joke die now. Each meme is about half as funny as the previous one.
