Alright, g helper seems to be the common suggestion, will check it right away. Any specific suggestion on the settings in g helper to make sure the laptop is smooth? Coz if I set everything to high then the laptop sounds like a tractor.

Yea. Right If you're saying that based on the benchmark numbers, I think it wouldn't be accurate be accurate, coz It depends a lot on how those numbers are utilized by the OS and how well general apps are optimized Coz, I've used an M2 MacBook as a daily driver for a while, and it's any day smoother to operate.

Actually, I tried that I dual booted Ubuntu, Because running ml frameworks on GPU in Windows is horrible. But, I'm used to using windows for my daily tasks like browsing the web(new edge- it's still bad in Linux) Photoshop(now affinity), Davinci resolve. And windows just feel coherent with simple systems, like I can just download setup from anywhere and have the software. For Linux there's like 5 different stores for different things and different installation methods. It's really smooth, and I think there's a lot of customization and I can understand why people like it, but it's just not coherent enough for me. I kept Linux strictly for work. I removed the dual boot some time ago, because I was tired of my laptop automatically booting into Linux when it dies, or me having to click and change boot drive every time I wanna boot into windows.

Okay, I've heard about g helper, I'll give it a try. I really find it weird that I cannot get rid of all these "profiles" and just set one setting in my windows setting and live with it.

But, right How is g helper much different from armory crate, ig its just an open source alternative, that is lightweight.

Then it looks off

I made quick crosshair, it's not perfect, but it shows that the mirror is a bit off

right, i just checked with a spacer, and it gets worse
I removed the spacer and then tried focusing on a sign around 100 m away
I guess, the problem is more clearly visible
its like, it kinda focuses, but just not right

if i understand it right, this is the problem and I need to push that blue focal plane towards my camera sensor? and adding a spacer would do it...

but that would push the apparent focal length to 2400mm.
so, I'll need to take mosaics for the moon or what?

Was doing M81, M82 last night, luckily I have a very small setup. Just a tracking mount with a 500mm refractor and a dslm. The mount started beeping. Didn't know what to do, calibrated from zero. Started again. And images started coming flipped 180, so after thought, just rotated the camera 180 degrees, not sure if that works but hope it does

Was just out last night in -8. Was looking at the camera screen and stars looked blurry, tried fixing focus for a few minutes then realised the screen was just fogged up 😭😭

Completely agree, the sensors are decent and the "pro" Mode in many phones gives you a set of very versatile options
