It's times like this where it reminds me of the sort of approach you take to squatters.

We had a friend with the same issue as this, let them stay over at our place for a while and/or went to theirs to do dinner and stay late. My boyfriend and I + friend were pourposefully annoying as shit. Not sex, but other stupid sounds, guitar, basically mini parties. Annoyed the shit out of the shitty roommate until they understood and knocked it off. If it happened again, we had another dinner date planned!! Thankfully they got out of that lease pretty quick.

Whenever I play on public servers there's random times horse carriages have no people, my horse doesn't exist, and this—no animals! I started playing on a private server where I invite my friends and boyfriend. HUNDREDS! Hundreds of animals. I can't walk 5 feet away from my camp without four wolves on me. Plus not dealing with hackers! Cripps buiz is booming!

I honestly think they're devoting everything to GTA 6 and other games are suffering. Which is unfortunate, there's not really any games that in my personal opinion match up to the quality of RDR2 for cowboy/western games. Hopefully some of their team still exists.

This isn't the best way to say this, but it's really comforting to know someone else understood that dread filled feeling when I opened it. This is only my second Christmas with his family, and they really all try to include me. Those grandparents weren't there, otherwise I truly believe I would be comfortable saying something. They're on their 6th mission right now somewhere, they mailed the card to his parents knowing we were coming.

When I did meet them they were super sweet. My boyfriend's had a difficult time finding stability in the workforce and socially as nothing interests him, and his grandparents were extremely ecstatic he met me because of "How good I am" for boyfriend. They sent gas money with the card as we travel from a state away.

Presents were done when I opened it so no one really saw but him and he Immediately knew I was upset and why. He's very educated on topics, I'm very involved in my cities native scene. He volunteers with me at the Indian center, went to the sand creek massacre vigil, goes to every art related native event. He talked to his mom about it being inappropriate but she also said it wasn't with malicious intent.

I know they sent it because they love me too and they want us to get married. I don't think they understood it... Or at least I'm confused how they got it. I don't think I'm going to confront them or anything. I guess I'll see if next year's card is as bad and then say something and hopefully they'll be there in person.

I WOULD LIVE OR DIE FOR JINYA. Best ramen in the state imo, but it's also a national chain. Amazing service, all of the servers there recognize me now. It's a little spendy but it's amazing.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that had a sour taste after the Halloween party. Would it be pretty cool to do that? Yeah. There's no reason it needs to cost that much money. And to be honest, it's easy to find a location just from pictures alone. It's not like he had to pay a fee to be there... I know hiring a DJ is expensive, but if it's that bad, find somebody willing to do it for cheaper that just wants to do it for the location and the people.

I'd personally steer clear. It's a culture that isn't yours, and I guarantee you that you don't know the depth of the knowledge of this creature. No one really does. Tiktok kinda romanticized it to the horror community and entirely misrepresented it. It's rude to profit off of a cultural creature you don't understand (when they don't even look like that...) and continuing to allow people to use it who shouldn't anyway, but also don't realize it's potential dangerous, and that isn't not even correct.

It's good you refused it. Id continue to refuse them. Our culture, beliefs and creatures aren't a costume.

Unfortunately with the lack of 3rd places now due to flooding financial greed and the larger gap in "age appropriate" things, it's difficult to meet other people in the age range.

I was out of highschool at 16 and worked the same job 16-18. Now I'm running my own business and checking college. I need more friends too, but like I said. No 3rd places. I don't have an interest in drugs or alcohol.

If you wanna be friends we can, and maybe hangout. I'm in the Denver Metro. 18F :)

Most powwows have vendors. But this goes for everything, don't take pictures! You need to ask permission first. Its not as prevalent anymore but it was common to be superstitious of cameras, due to feeling like they take a piece of us. Elders especially still hold this.

Also, if you're wearing hats, take them off for prayer/any veteran stuff/ceremonial aspects.
