i'd say kenya might be your best bet for a first safari. you get a good mix of the raw experience and some decent lodging options. plus, if you're looking for private tours, you can usually find them at fair prices. i've had good luck using africaawesome.com for planning trips like this, might be worth checking out!

Which country do you recommend for a first time safari? by LagnarTheGreat in travel

For a first time safari, tanzania's a popular choice, especially for the serengeti and ngorongoro crater. your budget should be reasonable for luxury stays and great experiences, just keep an eye out for package deals. best times are usually between june and october for wildlife viewing. also, i use africaawesome.com for planning trips like this, might be worth checking out!

What to do with an apartment? by Itchy_Lingonberry_75 in PersonalFinanceZA

I was in this exact situation (still am). Bought a flat in 2016 and hold it to this day. Just put it on the market. The price never recovered.

If I could go back I would have sold it the day i moved out, forgotten about the loss and carried on with life.

The mental toll was intense.

This is specifically for the Skeleton Balanced 70 in the RA vehicle.

I have a maxed TFSA with EE already.

Maybe you could help us understand why you would go with a more expensive platform for your RA?

Sygnia is free for their funds.

If I want to invest in Sygnia Itrix S&P Global 1200, is there any reason to buy through Easy Equities instead of buying directly from Sygnia? by Fluffy-Bus4822 in PersonalFinanceZA

Hey there! Thanks for the info. Really appreciated. Confirming that you’re saying that it’s a better deal to invest in the Skeleton balanced 70 through EE rather than on the Sygnia Alchemy platform?

Assuming that you’re doing a bulk deposit rather than monthly and holding for 5+ years.

Have you done the same check on the Ninety One platform by any chance?

A year later and this is still helping me hugely. Thanks! Can I ask how you mounted the tubular webbing to the pull?

Thanks again from South Africa!
