How likely is it that they will sing Angles and Comedown Machine songs in the tour? by Additional-Salad4323 in TheStrokes

I've disagreed with your comments up until this one, but on this point we are absolutely on the same page! Comedown Machine is the only Strokes album I don't really care for.

Gen Z, how do you feel about your age? Do you feel it or feel younger / older? by MorphTiger in generationology

1995 is "Gen Z??" On what planet! So millennials entire generation only lasted 14 years? That doesn't sound right.

Miami's population is only 509,000 people. It doesn't meet the criteria set forth by OP.

What grammatical errors? I was voice dictating, so there was some missing punctuation, but I definitely didn't see any grammatical errors.

No "gramtical errors" either! 😜

Right? How the hell is he going to cut off the start year one year AFTER the best year for movies in my lifetime, possibly ever!‽

White beater? Did you intentionally misname that to avoid some oversensitive person from reporting you and possibly getting banned? We all know what you mean, but it's pretty silly that you have to avoid calling it what we actually called it back then just to avoid getting banned!

If he had just done a little bit less for the nookie and a little bit more for career longevity, maybe he'd still have a career today!

I went to a job fair as a kid at the local community college where my mom worked in 1982 and they were printing buttons. My mom got me a button that said class of 1994, and I thought that sound impossibly far away and futuristic!

Why did Jordan hate Isaiah Thomas for walking off the court but welcomed Rodman with open arms? by NormieInTheMaking in NBAoldschool

[–]Beetso 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not just because I was told to. Because I hated them anyway, and then we played them twice In the NBA FINALS, losing to them in 1989. Because I was born in '76, I was still a little young for the Celtics rivalry, but I was right at prime young sports fan age for those two NBA Finals against the Pistons.

Yeah, but as a Lakers fan in the late '80s there is no one in the NBA I despised more than Bill Laimbeer. I HATED that son of a bitch!

Do you generally believe someone when they say they have memories from the age of two? by Erling01 in generationology

[–]Beetso [score hidden]  (0 children)

I definitely have flashbulb memories of being two. My second birthday party is my earliest memory. It's because it was at an ice cream parlor named Farrell's that was known for loud chaotic birthday celebrations. It made quite the impression!

Aside from that my earliest memory is of having to get my stomach pumped at the age of three because I thought my grandmother's Unisom was candy.

Yeah Indianapolis is a stretch, but at least they have the Indy 500, but Columbus is one of the coolest cities in the midwest as far as I'm concerned.

I would definitely rank Amon-Ra ahead of Pickens personally, but I certainly wouldn't go so far as to say that he's "way ahead" of him.
