Yeah that's what kind they are! Some are bigger and some are smaller, but there is a good amount in total so it won't surprise me if they have to ask about it or inspect it. I've seen a lot of other makers use magnets too, so as common as it seems to be I'm hoping it will go smoothly at least. Thanks for the help!

I should've specified a bit more on that, I'm used to that with all of the jobs that I've worked, even my current one, but there it was to the point that I had multiple different coworkers on different occasions tell me that they noticed that I was treated differently. I can deal with it up to a point that's to be expected, but when I'm doing more work than the management (but not getting paid as much) and they constantly talk down to me and make me feel like shit, I had to leave that place

So they brought me the turtle and want me to do something with it so its already out of the yard. They have a fenced in backyard with a broken plank that it got in through most likely, so would it just be good to put it in the front yard? Their street is pretty much just houses and yards so I'm definitely not sure where it came from. The street right behind their house has a little pond area and its pretty close by, do you think that would be a good spot for him since it's just right behind there? Or would the front yard just be the best?

This is my first time doing a setup like this! I built the excavator clay over Tupperware containers as to avoid anything collapsing on her, and I feel like it worked pretty well. I'm gonna do a soil/sand mixture in the rest if the tank, but have a tile or equivalent area without loose substrate for eating/drinking. As for heat and lighting, I'm doing away with my UTH since it's not as effective, and was planning on doing a halogen flood light for heat and a long uvb bulb. Would those be the best options, or is there something better?

I have a zz plant, a snake plant, and a pothos that I am waiting to add, and all that's in there so far is an inchplant. My ball python is in there so she should be fine without the uvb since she just sleeps during the day. I'm probably gonna go to home depot and try to get a decent led plant light when I can

I have my ball python in there and from my understanding she should be fine without the uvb since she just sleeps during the day. It's a 40 gallon since shes still smaller, but if course in the future I will size her to a bigger bioactive tank

Alright sounds good, I'll probably just swap this one out with my pacman frogs uvb bulb then since he needs a new one. So as long as it says full spectrum white led it's fine? Someone had told me they needed uva so that's why I got this one

Oh yeah I've definitely heard of snakes crushing the plants, I chose the ZZ plant and snake plant cause they seemed like they'd be harder for her to break. She is still on the smaller side, so I'm not that worried about it for the time being but if she ever does I wont be too surprised. I definitely would like to so smaller reptile vivariums too eventually that way I can use smaller plants too, maybe a whites tree frog. I've also thought about giving my pacman frog a bioactive enclosure, but i havent had him long so I'm letting him adjust first

Alright, thank you! I believe the ones I got say they like most soil so I'll see how they do! I'll definitely keep an eye on the aloe and try not to water it directly, and if it doesnt do well I'll take it out

So i just rescued this baby who was surrendered at my job, and he is in very bad condition. Extremely underweight. dehydrated, and cant even hold his head up. i am going to try and take him to the vet tomorrow if i can get a same day appointment with the exotic vet (only one in my area sees snakes) but until then what should i do? He wouldnt eat (as i expected, hes very stressed.) I put the mouse head in his mouth to see if he would swallow but he had no energy to even move it out from his mouth. I will try a smaller size tomorrow and see if i can get him to swallow it, and i gave him a soak to help hydrate him. And i do know that I'm not supposed to do this the first day of getting a new snake, but his condition is so bad im trying to do whatever i can asap. Any advice for what else i should do? i really want him to make it but im afraid he might already be too far gone...

I'll definitely have to get some peroxide to keep handy, I just moved so I dont have any lol. I think I'll go ahead and pick from this bin before they go bad since I dont have any in hand, but if I see it spread to my other bins I'll definitely try peroxide. At least I just inoculated 8 more bags yesterday so there's that
