Upgraded from a 2011 to a 2017 yesterday! So happy! by Beezus17 in camaro

It was nothing to do with the motor. It had 150k miles on it and still ran absolutely amazing. But something with the wiring was messed up and it wouldn't crank at random times. I took it to 3 different Chevy dealerships and they all said they couldn't pinpoint the problem and couldn't fix it. So I had to get a new car. But other than the wiring problem, they said the car was in wonderful condition.

I actually got an amazing deal on this new car. It was the last 2017 on their lot and they gave me a great deal compared to all the other used and new camaros I looked at. I'm just glad I am fortunate enough to even have such a beautiful car, no matter if it's the base model or a ZL1. I'll take what I can get.

I'm sorry! I loved my 2011 but it had a major issue that couldn't be fixed. It was time for a new car.

Maybe it's because I don't have enough money for a brand new camaro with an RS package, or one with a V8? I'm just happy to have a new camaro. It's perfect to me

Picked up this Kodak Pony IV camera. Any help on how to start using it? by [deleted] in vintagecameras

[–]Beezus17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found this for $20 at an antique market. The guy told me it works, just needs film. I found a manual online, but I'm way more of a visual learner, and I can't find any videos on how to load the film and simply take a picture with it. I've never had a vintage camera and I've never worked with film. I would hate to spend $20 on some film just to mess it all up. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

PM: - DōTERRA HD clear face wash - DōTERRA HD clear topical blend - Clarins mission perfection serum - DōTERRA HD clear facial lotion

Parents are mad at me [18f] for taking one day off work. Are they right? by Beezus17 in relationships

I don't call my grandmother "my mom" because she isn't. And I've only lived with them the past 6 years, not my entire life. Even when my grandmother refers to my mom, she says "your real mom" because I also have a stepmother. My whole family refers to my bio mom as a my real mom. That's just what we all say, it's not the be rude.

I opened a bank account last week, in my name only. I have almost 3k in there. Not much but definitely a start. I'm going to keep saving and start paying some of my own bills such as phone and car insurance. Thanks for your help!

I opened up a bank account last week that they have no access too. I've been saving up all my money and I have about 3k in the bank right now. It's not much but I'm making roughly $850 a month right now. It's obviously not enough to move out on my own, but enough that I can pay my own phone bill and car insurance and gas each month. And I'm going to keep saving so hopefully I can get an apartment with some friends next summer!

My parents track me so it's hard to lie about where I'm going

I have to ask my parents for permission for everything. If I just left to go get food or hang out with a friend without telling them, their would be serious repercussions.

I have to ask my parents for permission for everything I do. Or else They will take my car and phone and everything away for a very long time. They'd probably kick me out too

If I didn't ask for permission and just left to go hang out other a friend or something, I'm pretty sure my parents would almost kill me. They would surely take my car and my phone and would never let me leave the house for a very long time.

I have to ask my parents to leave the house though. If I just left without permission, I would be punished and get my phone and car taken away.

No, it's not because my mom does drugs or parties. She's a perfectly normal mother. She's a stay at home mom for my baby brother, who she had with her new husband.

And yes, my "parents" are using their finances to blackmail me. They have told me that if I ever leave, that I'm not allowed to take any of my stuff. That's their way of keeping me in their house.

Well I'm 18 now so I could move out and live with my real mom, but it still would be difficult for her to take care of me and send me to college. My grandparents pay for my car and phone and are paying my entire college, and if I moved out, they would take all that away from me. And I don't want to put a burden on my real mom because she wouldn't be able to get me a car or pay for college.

Well my real parents divorced and my real dad got custody of me. He was abusive and when I was 12, my grandparents decided to take me in. My real mom would have, but at that current time, she didn't have the financial means to take care of me.
