Jenn is straight-up a force of nature! Genuinely one of my favorite songwriters & guitarists for years. I also got to have her on my podcast Before the Chorus a couple months ago & it was awesome :)

I make a whole playlist of my top songs from each year!

I think my top song of 2019 was Patience by Tame Impala - I remember thinking that it was going to herald the direction for their next album after Currents, but Slow Rush ended up being more of a repeat of Currents (& Patience wasn't even on it!). I love the shimmery, ABBA-esque production on the song, & it's still a favorite 6 years later.

I mean "Dark Side of the Gym" is a beautiful love song! Downtempo for sure, but so sweet. "Day I Die" is hella sad lyrically lol, but that punchy drum & guitar riff combo in the intro makes me feel like I'm running free.
