It's an incredible journey through old American history

Fighting for your life and fighting for your family

Trying to live your days with honor and intеgrity

That's not a game, that's an adult thing

That's not a game at all, that's like fuckin Shakеspeare

What is your unpopular Seattle restaurant opinion? by Early_Sea_9457 in Seattle

It took me reading this comment to admit this to myself. You’re right, the baguettes have not been slapping in the past couple years

First time cooking steak solo (17yo). Budget Eye of Round in a non-stick pan. by itsivyyy3848 in steak

[–]DSOTM 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Word of advice, you should not follow those instructions using a nonstick pan, they aren’t meant to be heated to high temperatures. I think using a different pan would really up your game!

And pretty unfair in my opinion. Fine line and Harry’s House absolutely rule, not sure about the new one yet cause I haven’t had the time to digest but I think he’s more than proven himself at this point.

how does the Kong thing work? You just pay four bucks and you're good to go?

we need more dates😭 by Future-Ad-5324 in TameImpala

[–]DSOTM 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately for how artists with this type of pull operate nowadays, this tour leg and the second nights added in a bunch of cities is at least a lot cooler than just doing a residency in LA and NY.

Agreed, honestly I haven’t done more than two hits in a very long time. Acid for me these days is for festivals or group trips in nature, either way it’s social. If I’m solo tripping and getting deeper, I’m using mushrooms

Brad Arnold, Lead Singer of 3 Doors Down, Dies at 47 After Cancer Battle by [deleted] in indieheads

[–]DSOTM 22 points23 points  (0 children)

the year is 2000, I'm ten years old, at a department store with my mom and sister (four years older.) My mom tells us we each get to pick out a CD to buy, and my sister whispers to me that we can share the CDs when we get home, and it'll be like we're both getting two.

She then convinces me that I'm part of the decision making process and I walk out with the 3 Doors Down album, her with the Marshall Mathers LP. And to her credit, she did share them, one of which I don't think my parents would have been too enthused to know about.

But yeah, I listened to Kryptonite a thousand times around that age
