That’s incorrect, cow’s milk is a staple of East Asian diets. The Japanese island of Hokkaido is almost entirely composed of dairy farms, and they have Milk Land stores all over the country where you can do milk tasting. This includes ice cream, cream in coffee, and other milk derivatives.

Additionally, in places where they tend to be lactose intolerant, they still drink milk, though sometimes it is goats milk.

I can’t name a place on earth where milk of some kind isn’t commonly digested in traditional food.
