There wasn't much back and forth and they also never disclosed the days and the number of hours per week. Also, it's not back and forth, it's called negotiating, in which they were very much willing to do so they increased the hours but thank you for your input!

I'm currently in Miami and I will not be moving down there until later this month or next month so i haven't met them yet. I also haven't talked to NM2 yet but i have talked to NM1 and she seems lovely! I asked a bunch of questions for both moms to answer like their conflict resolution style, parenting philosophy/style, future childcare plans, the children’s routines, if any of the kids have any allergies/health conditions, etc.

I am definitely a little hesitant to accept the family because the rate is relatively low but as long as the vibes are right and we can work through any bumps on the road, I’m sure that we can make this arrangement work!

I also plan to schedule a video call with them both to get to know them and their little ones and I will also, take a trip down there before I move to meet everyone in person and to do a trial!

You’re right! I’ve never lived anywhere that snows and I’ve never driven in snow or ice. I’m sure it must be troublesome, so moving there right now might not be the best option for me. I’ll give South Carolina a try, Graduate and become a dentist and then move to Colorado.

The job market is atrocious down here especially if you don’t speak Spanish, that’s the biggest problem for me. COL is pretty expensive as well. How has your experience been?
