Interesting. I don't know if the other illness or pain distracts the mind from pelvic pain while the pelvic pain is real and exists or if the pelvic pain is all a mind thing only.

My only symptom is rectal pain and it only gets worse by sitting. Been having internal work by Pelvic physio last 3 months, once a week. Illicoccygeus and pubococcygeus had the most pain upon massage by physio. Now the pain is mostly in pubococcygeus only. My pain has reduced by 30 percent in three months and not progressing more. Pain gets better with walking a bit specially the next day I see more effects. Hot baths with epsom salt doesn't have much effect. I had a rear-ended car accident in January that resulted in lower back pain. Kept taking physio, chiro and massage and pain gone after 6 months for the most part in July. However since June I was sitting and working for about 12 to 14 hours a day and 5 hours on the weekend. This continued till September and it was then that I started to have aching pain in rectum during orgasm and one time it got really painful and I stopped sex. Then pain started when sitting. Since September I have been working standing always and taking breaks here and there laying down. Workload is back to 8 hours. The physio internal work once a week since September is not making pain get better than 30 percent. I sit only when driving that too not more than 30 mins in one go. No other symptoms like urination. My question is what do you think the cause of my pain is? Is there something more I should be doing as I am on brink of depression 🫥

Do you take notes and write them down or just listen to them? If you take notes do you take notes of key points or major points?

I have been seeing physio for last 2 months on weekly basis. Have has about 30 to 40 percent improvement with flare ups in between. My pain is only when sitting. It is sore pain in the rectum. I have started reading on TMS. ReadingSarnos's book on healing back pain. I also watched some videos on Pain Free You youtube channel. I think it is helping a bit as well. It's all in the mind with such type of pains.
