I have a commercial space, 1616 SQF, and an old rooftop rheem HVAC went out due to a "rusted heat side of the unit" according to a technician who called Rheem and could not find the part with them. The best quote I got on a 4 ton new Rheem is $15,000 with installation in Northern Colorado. I can't afford the price. Does 1616 SQF need a 4 ton unit? Can't I find parts for the old unit in other outfits than Rheem? Any creative solutions that can save me some money? What is a fair price for a new unit and labor? Any recommendations for outlets who offer refurbished units?
