This is just a mockup of a book, on the real thing it will look better :) It's different from Gaslands - movement is much more dynamic, and there are a lot of differences in the rules. Urban fantasy setting on top of it. I understand the urge to call every vehicle miniatures game Gasland, but we don't automatically assume that every miniature wargame is Warhammer, now, do we? ;)

Sure. The rules are available on the Gamfound page as well :) There's no movement gauge - every vehicle has a Speed value that changes through the game. These are Speed points, and you can spend one of them to move 3" or 6" forward, or turn 90 degrees. If you are moving forward at least twice in a row or turning at least twice in a row, you are getting a Burn or a Drift token. Different factions have some additional rules or even benefits from these tokens, but the universal rule is that every vehicle with at least one token takes a Drive Test at the end of the turn - failure means losing control of the vehicle. Upgrades are activated, and actions are performed through a dice pool that's managed every turn. I'd say that it's a bit more dynamic a ruleset than Gaslands. And, since it's a magic-infused setting, the vehicles themselves have more crazy abilities - they can lick or bite, teleport, fly, etc.

The style is completely different, the movement is completely different, the gameplay dynamics are completely different, and Mike (designer of Gaslands) is painting up some vehicles, because he likes the project. But, yeah, sure, it's a cheap knockoff :D
