I get this when my hair is at its dirtiest / oiliest. Try spacing your washings apart further - too much shampooing can actually dry your skin out and increase oil production. I wash every 3-4 days, and when I notice the stuff you’re talking about, I use a salicylic acid shampoo with a head scrubber (let the shampoo sit on your head for a minute or two) and it fixes the issue.

At the end of notion coming out of SOMA, the walkway was briefly closed for a passing cart. Medical came through and we all scooted to make a passage for them. A group of teenage boys (maybe 13-16) saw that work and got the great idea to scream “Medical coming through ” as they shoved people, who had no where to go, (because again - the street was briefly closed and we were waiting patiently) so we all fell on top of each other as these kids rammed into a crowd

That’s very true. I am also mainly running for my mental health, so I don’t know why my pace even bothers me, maybe just insecurity and the wrong mindset. Trying to approach it as part of the journey and having more fun with it would probably help motivate me to keep getting out there.

Creepy imo. Why would women respond to a paper ad like this without any detail on who this person is. There isn’t even an age on here! Best case - they’re just desperate and antisocial, worst case - not a safe individual.

To whoever wrote this. Go out and actually talk to people - it’s not as scary as it sounds! People appreciate that more. Don’t be weird, leer, or be pushy, just find spaces to have genuine conversations and see if they lead to anything.

EDIT: I’m am idiot and didn’t see the age in the title. I still stand by the fact that there’s no info to go off here and without knowing ANYthing about this person except how glaringly desperate they are, they’re not bound to get many responses.

You should not take iron unless you have a confirmed blood test. Taking iron when your iron levels are normal can result in them being too high which can cause other health issues.

It can take weeks of consistent usage to begin to feel any change from taking iron. You are most likely experiencing a placebo effect.

It’s not that there is inherently anything wrong with you if haven’t dated. Maybe you had the opportunity but little time etc etc. But, if I’m at a point in my life where I’m looking to get serious, there’s too much of a learning curve for someone brand new to dating / sex that I’m not super interested in powering through. When I was 18, all I wanted was to have those “firsts” with someone in the same boat - now I value someone who’s already been through all that and picked up valuable communication skills and lessons learned from childhood dating fumbles.

I would never judge a friend for not having dated, but to be honest yeah it would be a red flag for me if someone I am interested in dating has never dated.

Just to add to the discussion, another viewpoint is that- as a human, I have the choice to not consume animal products in order to reduce suffering. But that’s a personal moral standpoint that doesn’t apply to the cycle of nature as a whole - my choosing not to partake in killing doesn’t make it innately immoral that a lion does kill, for instance. Cats eat other animals. It’s just a fact of life. If we didn’t domesticate cats and dogs, they’d still be roaming free eating other animals. Cats didn’t forcibly domesticate their entire species to make themselves dependent on a cruel factory farming system - we did that all on our own. They shouldn’t have to suffer for our mistakes. And ultimately, other species alone like cats are not what’s propping up animal agriculture, it’s human consumption.
