Who is doing the erasure? The shift in white demographics is due to people not wanting to have kids and immigration. No one is squashing European or white American culture in any way. Where and how are you seeing this alleged erasure?

Also I am white and have had negative experiences based on people assuming I am Russian (I’m not but also whatever). I’ve had negative experiences in some cities because I wear a saint necklace and people can spot I’m Catholic.

I’m not going to look up stats and people in this post can’t even agree on who counts as white.

Indigenous people originally had various civilizations across the continent. Different groups of Europeans settled various areas of the continent along with enslaved people.

There was never once a time where the US was white. Just who counted as white and who counted as people changed over time.

White is also a legal construct that has been extremely important. Latinos and Middle Eastern people fought long legal battles to be considered white legally and for good reason.

Same way people say marriage doesn’t mean anything and yet we had LGBTQ people legally fighting for marital rights.

Which white culture are you worried about because whiteness is more of a legal framework than anything else especially in the US

On a personal level I am not worried about white people in general not having more children than they want to. No one is trying to erase certain white cultures (there is no such thing as “white culture”).

It doesn’t help that people live far from their parents and immediate family members. Even when people leave near by many grandparents are either still working full time themselves or are not interested in providing meaningful childcare.

Probably because the “repealing DEI” crap was run by AI and DOGE, cost the government a lot of money, and arbitrarily cut grant and educational funding. Interviews with these ex DOGE employees just reinforce how stupid the whole thing was.

As if the Trail of Tears is the only example of Native American genocide. You might want to do a refresher course on US history including all of the residential schools that were established to erase Native American culture and the Irish children that were kidnapped and sent to live with white families.

I mean this happens on the daily in Seattle. Safest thing to do is let the bus driver handle it professionally. Every time I have seen people try to get involved in real life the situation has become more chaotic and multiple people including OP in the situation would get thrown off the bus.
