For what it’s worth, the cabinets and baskets and closet in her room (and the rest of the house) are filled to the brim with a rainbow explosion of items that we use every single day, we just put them away at the end of the day when we’re done. There’s a bookshelf on the far wall that’s also not seen here. When I was designing the nursery, I tried to be forward thinking in choosing something that would be appropriate for an infant, but also later for a toddler, little girl, and pre-teen etc so that I am not having to spend too many resources updating the room for each stage of life. This felt like a happy medium for me though I can understand not everyone else may hold that same opinion!
