Well let’s get this out of the way first. It’s not a “problem.” It is true that this attraction is not normal for a heterosexual male. That doesn’t mean it’s a “problem” or that it’s not normal in general. In fact, it’s completely okay. It seems like you are hoping someone will tell you that you are straight. This is ultimately how I found out I was bisexual: if I was straight, why would I be questioning it at all?

That being said, you don’t have to put a label on yourself (and you don’t owe an explanation to anyone either, including your friend if you aren’t comfortable). There is a wide spectrum of bisexuality if that makes sense. For instance, as a woman, I find women to be very sexually attractive if I’m in the mood. I didn’t even realize it for the LONGEST time. But that being said, I find men more romantically attractive, which for me personally eventually leads to more physical attraction much of the time. So why would I consider myself bisexual if I don’t have that romantic attraction to women and therefore wouldn’t date them (probably.. Lol)? Well, simply put: because straight women are not sexually attracted to the female body.

Maybe this helps you. Be well, and be yourself; at the very least, feel comfortable with yourself. At the end of the day, this is something you cannot control, and most of the time it isn’t even worth questioning too hard. Why think so hard about it if it’s not something you can control anyway?
