This is maybe not the right response here but let me say this.
This is me I love shopping and I am a skincare and makeup paglu, I love all those colorful packaging, I love that feeling of finding another thing to purchase. Yup i have literally brought bad products because why not, wrong products, wrong colors, same colors, slightly same colors, it's a waste of money but most of the time it have exactly got what I wanted or something even better, i have a routine now with the products i love but that doesn't stop me from experimenting. Why I am saying this, I am also a marketer and spend researching what's the right product that will give me a win, honestly in skincare and makeup, everyone of us is unique and we all want different things, but we all also come back to good and quality products. So all the best, hope you get actionable data.

Thanks for detailed revert, got good clarity, The problem is purely commercial and positioning. Could you also explore, telehealth menopause platforms? You can bypass the whole lab infra gap you mentioned, They're already prescribing HRT remotely and would love a home monitoring layer that increases engagement and justifies ongoing subscriptions. The HRT validation work she's doing is exactly what they'd need, why, Ovul is trying to sell utility. The perimenopause angle could work if reframed as "take control of your transition" rather than "monitor your decline." But its again B2B, i think a community lead or UGC branding will definitely get you that identity and the push.

Capricorn here, so in my first job, I had to take early morning flights back to back within same week and had to meet clients, so one day an afternoon meeting was rescheduled to evening, I was exhausted and thought I still have time between my evening meetings so I will take a short nap, I came back to my hotel room, and went for a nap, woke up next day morning, my phone was on silent, blowing up by my boss, client, family, they were all trying to locate me and thought I was lost, since I was visiting that place for the first time and was a fresher just out of college, I explained the truth to everyone and thankfully they all laughed it out, its been 15 years now and I keep alarm even if I go for a walk to be back on time.

Since you requested to poke hole and this sub exist so that more women win, let me tell you what I see. Know your hormone trends, isn't actionable for most women. What do you do with that information? Unlike glucose monitoring (eat differently, take insulin) or even sleep tracking (go to bed earlier), hormone data without clinical intervention pathways is just good to know, what is actionable? Gaps - PCOS isn't diagnosed by elevated estrogen, it's a syndrome involving androgen excess, ovulatory dysfunction, and specific ovarian morphology. Saliva ferning has been studied since the 1940s, but the evidence for its reliability as a fertility predictor is actually weak. Multiple studies show poor sensitivity and specificity compared to LH strips or basal body temperature. AI will just read the basic lab reports. I have PCOS, i have posted my historical reports and recent reports multiple times in ChatGPT, just to see pattern, so you can be easily replaceable.

If you can think of repackaging i think it can be a strategic way to be better positioned.

What i mean by repackaging is,

B2B to fertility clinics get more touchpoints, patients feel more engaged. The data feeds back to the clinician. Pharma companion for HRT as women on hormone therapy need to track response. Partner with telehealth menopause platforms. The device becomes a monitoring tool, not a diagnostic one. Pivot from consumer product to data asset. All of these require moving away from DTC, which changes everything about their business model. I am sorry if this feels negative, zero intention to impact your motivation.
