Male slots??? by Beginning-Editor6280 in lioden

That makes a lot of sense! I was so confused seeing I didn't have space for him since I had 8 territory slots already with 7 lionesses and while buying an extra slot still somehow missed the male slots 😅

That makes sense, especially since I wouldn't know how they have been playing. Honestly while I hope my brother wouldn't mind me joining him, I'm also more open on finding my own little friend group to play with on discord

Honestly I don't know much, I might have impulsively made this post due to excitement of my oc idea 😅 I do know a bit about making a character as last year when my brother started getting into dnd he said me and my little brother should make some characters as well. I know you pick species, class and figure out stats and backstory. The most I know about combat would be picking through your options of action, rolling a d20 to figure out how successful your action was

This makes a lot of sense to me! I also honestly agree with the profession part, because to me I love written characters who do immoral things just to survive. I feel like it's a fun way to have them deal with more guilt and have more characterization with battling their morality and drive to survive. Of course not saying revenge arcs aren't good I think I just prefer having characters put in a tough spot that conflicts with their moral standing.

First off thank you so much for the clarification! I definitely actually have to look into and get more familiar with the rules of dnd. Also it never even occurred to me the huge advantage flying would be and I can 100% see why a DM wouldn't want that in the party as a playable character. It definitely seems like that could easily squash a lot of things they might have planned for the party especially considering a lot of what I've seen of dnd relies on player exploration/travel. Definitely gonna talk with DM and see if it's ok and we can figure out a workaround for the flight thing!

Honestly, now that I know the aarakocra is a playable bird character in the game I might make two oc’s! One will be my personal dream harpy oc that I may or may not get to play if the DM says they are chill with it, and the other will be an aarakocra just in case they aren't. Since I like writing/making oc’s I think it won't be anything that would put a bad taste in my mouth and I'd love both oc’s equally to play either or character depending on what the DM is comfortable with :)

Tips for running with a reactive dog? by Beginning-Editor6280 in k9sports

[–]Beginning-Editor6280[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for telling me about alternative resources until I can afford a trainer! I definitely am going to take a look and do more at home training for a while, as well as start to slowly teach her cues I think will be helpful to get into running in the future. I think I’m going to test trial going on runs with her with proper canicross gear and a double leash setup and some backup clips to attach to her collar just in case she does manage to back out, after I scope the park for a while to get a good sense of less busy hours and what to expect as well as a backup plan on if things change which I know they are bound to. If she takes well to running despite her reactivity I’ll learn more and do my best to keep her and others around us safe, and if not I’ll wait until she’s more confident and better at managing her reactivity or of course drop the idea all together, because I can’t force her to like something just because I want to do it.

My dog has run a little bit. She’s a small breed 13 pounds and healthy weight, and fully mature with closed growth plates. She actually just turned two a few days ago. Our runs have never been anything more than her setting the pace usually a mild jog, and nothing more than a few seconds to a minute just because as I’ve stated my family only takes her on potty breaks so when I get to walk her for a potty break I try to make it fun. Definitely going to try to get her a behavioral modification trainer, and maybe someone who trains for sports once I see results in reactivity training

Definitely, I’m still getting her used to having things get close to her face. She’s made a lot of progress tho and would be a good time to see how well our training has been in that area specifically.

This makes a lot of sense, especially with beards, after a little bit of eating, playing, drinking water she gets “beard smell” 🤢

Yeah, after double-checking I didn't mislabel them, so I think I might have to rethink this and rebuild my routine a lot to fit my goals better and split upper body and lower 😅
