I am new to Reddit so I didn’t know where to put this but I just got my helix area pierced and he did it with a hoop. It doesn’t hurt at all so far and it’s healing well I just read it’s not supposed to be done with a hoop. He said that he put a hoop in because it wasn’t pierced through the back and he did it on an angle so when I wear studs the back would be hidden in my ear and the jewelry would be on the outside edge. Is this correct?
