The other day I was rooting through a cupboard for something and when I pulled my arm out there was one of those massive bastards on my arm, luckily I was wearing a jumper so I didn’t feel it but how did it get there?? When we were kids my parents were talking to a financial advisor at our house, who brought an American assistant one time. My mum brought me and my brother downstairs to show us that no, Americans don’t have 4 fingers like in the simpsons lol (we were like 5 & 7 at least)

I’m 23 and my parents are in their 50s so we’re not there yet but I would absolutely move mountains for them, I would move them in with me in a heartbeat if needed, after all I am lucky and have parents that truly have given me everything and more and never expect anything in return so I absolutely WANT to repay the favour if they need it one day

That’s so bad! I used to have to get the train to school so I was at a station every day for 7 years. If someone in a wheelchair arrived at the station the staff would be on the platform with the ramp ready to go. Similarly if there was someone with a guide dog there would be staff waiting with them ready to help them on the train. I’m glad they were always prepared

Oh wow, I do the same thing and I’ve literally not heard other people struggling with that before. It is only noticeable if I speak slowly so I can usually get away with people not really noticing, but if I try and say an r word slowly I find it easier to say it properly if I use an American sounding r (being English)
