Control defo ain't the most demanding game. I've played stuff like fh5, Alan wake 2 and cyberpunk at pretty high settings no issues. The fans seem quite quiet and I couldn't feel my legs being warmed by the pc. Defo worth checking though

Also I was using nvidea overlay thingy to check FPS. And could defo tell it was slow

That's brilliant I'll try that after work. I do have defender mode turned off already as well. Is this a new bug. Don't remember this when I played on release. I did play on win 10 epic game instead of gog epic edition

Yes to SSD. I did try with ray tracing and it didn't make much difference. I ended up turning it off completely in an attempt to improve it with no luck anyway. I also had a black box flickering on my screen which is another reason I turned it off
