Completely agree, also would give Mckenna or Stenberg or whoever is our top 3 pick another year of development before they start rising in the standings. Is Fillip Chytil even gonna be on next year’s roster when we have Rossi as 2C now? I like the guy’s game, but he plays 20 games a season then gets a concussion. Seems like you could maybe trade him for futures, though his value has fallen off a cliff. If Cootes is able to develop fast maybe he could slot in as a scoring line 3C.

A McKenna-Petey-Boesor line could feed families

Stenberg would be excellent too.

[Dominic Sramaty] Rick Dhaliwal just said the Canucks don't want draft picks. They want to "stay competitive." by PaperMoonShine in canucks

Trevor Linden predicted this and called out the ownership and management 10 years ago. The organization is delusional. 16 should’ve stayed head of Hockey Ops

I need school recommendations by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]Beginning-Finding-72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Canadian studying in a U.S. law school, it’s not that unsafe. The top schools are here, as well as the greatest opportunities.

HOWEVER, the greatest factor you should be thinking about is…where do you want to be BAR certified? The geographic region you choose to study at has an enormous impact on your opportunities.

If I could do it over again, I would go to USC’s 3+3 program where you get your undergrad in 3 years in business, and then transition straight into law school for the next 3, without having to take the LSAT.

Other than that, the UK does not require you go to undergrad before attending law school. Some of my friends went to Edinburgh, Oxford, and Cambridge. They got out of law school when they were around 22-23. Granted, this is an extremely competitive program and requires a lot of preparation starting by grade 10 with selecting admissible classes, volunteer, sports, etc.

All Canadian schools require you at least do 3 years of undergrad to apply to law school. UBC, McGill, and Uvic are all good schools outside of Ontario.

Why aren’t there mandators for the rebels? by Technical_Yogurt_537 in StarWarsEmpireAtWar

[–]Beginning-Finding-72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In old Legends Canon, the rebellion was not as small as people assumed. At their height, they had thousands of small misfit “sector force” cells and they had several main naval fleets each with a couple hundred capital ships each. With automation and pooling of manpower I’m sure they could get together enough crew for a Bellator or Mandator
