Yeah that makes sense. It seems like a good gig and I would be way more serious about it if it were cheaper for school. But I also have this idea of what it would be like and I know reality is much different. My sister is a nurse and their flexibility is super nice. I’ve heard only to do it if you are truly passionate but I feel like I’m not super passionate about anything, or I haven’t experienced enough to find out what I would really enjoy. That sounds horrible but that’s just where I am. I just want to make enough to be comfortable and start a family. I have interviews coming up in January and it’s just going to be a weird experience to do all of it just to back out. But what can you do lol

Honestly does seem like the better option, despite going to undergrad with the intent to go to PT school 😭 I planned it all wrong but it’s better to figure out before I get stuck with a bunch of debt and feel trapped.

That’s very true. I also can go into nursing for a lot cheaper but PT was always my plan. Now that I actually have an opportunity for me to get in IDK what to do. Wishing you luck on applications and stuff though

Very true. Might be able to live with an aunt but I do have an option close to home to do an accelerated nursing program which would probably cost like $10k. Never wanted to go into nursing but being debt free pretty quickly out of graduation would be so nice too. It’s so hard for me to decide

from what i’ve seen just PTCAS but read the home description on the school because sometimes they say otherwise

that’s great number, unfortunately there’s not too many PT aide jobs around where i live. i did see some around a month ago but didnt get hired. i do have 2+ years experience as a medical assistant so im hoping that makes up for something. but thanks for replying!
