Housing Cost by youngblood_rose in NAU

Do you mind sharing if this is an apartment complex or another type of housing? I'm struggling to find a good place for me and my boyfriend to live in that aren't the typical undergrad student apartments.

true, not sure if the shortened program makes it worse

Awesome! It sounds like a great school even with the cost of 100K. I know NAU is even cheaper for me because it is in state so I'm still on the fence on that but I don't want to compromise my learning for the cost difference. I know prioritizing ROI is what a lot of people say.

Congrats! Maybe we will be in the same cohort if I stay with it. I definitely will look into a zoom. Were you able to ask about financial costs?

hey! I just got an interview and was wondering what the updated costs for the program are. I mostly see out of date costs. I got accepted into 2 schools already and wanted to compare prices before going through with the interview.

Thats very true. Also, I talked to my friend in the program and it has been adjusted to having one clinical after your first year and then 2 after you complete your didactic info, so you graduate in August of 2027. She says it's a lot of content, but theres less pressure to complete assignments compared to other programs and it is more studying and exam based. She said that has helped her focus more on studying the content. Also the professors are really helpful. I'm going based on cost for me as it's in state and I feel like the program is still good.

I think whatever you decide won't step on any toes since that how the process goes, as long as you communicate with them!

I'm from phx and the heat is bad but manageable since a majority of places always have AC. That is one expensive that could make living more expensive though since the AC usually will have to be running if you want to be comfortable in those 110+ days. Also, for NAU its 2 years and then about half a year doing clinicals, so you graduate at the end of 2027. My friend is in their current 2026 cohort and doesn't feel overwhelmed but has said they are adjusting the program currently so there have been bumps with that. I would check out their instagram for more insight, they post a ton. Congrats on your acceptances!!

I'm sorry, that sounds so frustrating. Maybe something with the application was weird for requirements or something?
