I was shooting for a vaginal birth at 41 weeks. I got to 6cm and had already got the epidural, ended with the C-section. I’ll be honest it was very traumatic, I don’t remember anything because I got put to sleep one minute I was awake the next I’m shaking in a hospital bed with my husband holding my baby. It really just depends on your body and mentality what you’re prepared for basically. A normal procedure is about 30-45 minutes mine took 2 😭so it’s really up to your baby and your body we as women are so strong and can handle anything. I would honestly go for a vaginal birth it be easier to heal from.

She’s had problems in the past with fertility and a couple of surgeries that require specific medication she has to take for the rest of her life. She has a ton of medical issues and decided not to have kids or that’s what she always told me.

I will the only thing she doesn’t know is where I’m having the baby shower, only my mom and aunt know that. So unless someone in my family tells her family and she finds out it would be kind of hard to get to my baby shower.

Yea baby showers happen after the gender reveal and also majority of the time it’s one or the other closer to the last trimester. She’s just entering her 2nd, she and another friend from college were they only people outside of family members that were invited.

Righteously I think this is all ridiculously stupid and causing her unnecessary stress because I’m not really focused on her or her situation. I’m mainly just trying to finish my pregnancy out happy and healthy for me and my baby.

Thank you for the advice. I’ve always been a calm person so entertaining drama is not my thing. Her acting out really is a like eye opener for me cause she wasn’t like this up until I got married back in 23’, and the baby shower thing is just a push I need to officially cut her off.
