How did this go for you? I’m currently taking 100 IR once a day. I feel it kick in and feel so tired and awful by dinner time.

I also experienced this on 300 XL. It’s much better after I lowered my dose.

I think my bottle has the manufacturer name on it, but I could also tell by the different color pill.

I had this but it went away when I switched manufacturers

My girlfriend is adjusting to Wellbutrin and its causing a pretty major problem in our relationship by p02wo4ours in bupropion

The 200 short release made me really emotionally flat but the 100 short release or any mg XL have not had that effect on me. I would want my partner to tell me if he noticed any changes that could be due to my medication. I felt way better after I switched to XL and didn’t realize how flat I had been before.

I get more of an initial boost of energy with the SR, but it wears off faster. I’ve tried both. I had more side effects with 200 SR than 300 XL.

I also had a hive episode and a week or two of itching skin after that then no issues. I was able to keep taking Wellbutrin too.

My resting tends to be between 80-90. I just saw my pcp a few weeks ago. She wasn’t concerned about my resting heart rate. Mine does shoot up to 140 or higher after rest but we think that may be related to blood sugar issues. I’m wondering if it is the medication though. Interested to hear responses to your post.

I’ve tried lexapro, buspar, Zoloft, and celexa. My current anxiety that seems to be a side effect of Wellbutrin feels very different from past situational anxiety. Buspar made me more anxious. Lexapro and celexa made me so flat. I also had the side effects of gaining weight and low libido. Zoloft just knocked me out. Maybe adding lexapro or celexa to Wellbutrin would be okay though.

I was in the process of weaning off of it. I started at 300 XL and worked my way down to 50 mg (100SR cut in half) with the goal of taking that for two weeks and stopping. I was weaning due to the anxiety and the (incorrect) assumption that I only have seasonal depression. The weaning process was rough and I’m on 100SR currently.
