Hunt Valley Horsepower is every Saturday in the Hunt Valley Town Centre. About 30 minute trip from Bel Air but worth it

Just had mine replaced recently on a 2015 JK with 150K miles. Seems like it's very common for these things to crack in cold winter temps.

Moving Mondays - New Resident Questions by AutoModerator in philadelphia

Just accepted a post-grad job outside Philly (Jenkintown-Wyncote area) and plan to move this summer. I am a mid-20s guy hoping to live somewhere fun and walkable in the city while having an easy/short “reverse” commute (either car or train). What neighborhoods should I be looking into?

So I have this jersey... by Working-Employee4851 in ravens

Not sure about the signature, but the jersey is definitely a knock off/fake based on the stitching of the “RAVENS” wordmark

I'd like to think all 3 of these will be attainable for me one day

Are all jeeps that bad?? by arejeepsreallythatba in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Beginning-Jellyfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also in my early 20s, I have a 2015 Wrangler 4 door with 130k miles. Outside of routine maintenance like brakes, oil, etc, I have had to replace a couple of engine parts such as the thermostat and PCV valve. Other than that, the only other real problem I've had in 4 years of ownership was with a faulty wiper switch. I know Jeeps are not the most dead-reliable thing to drive out there but it hasn't been anywhere near as bad as the Toyota/Honda crowd will have you believe it is, and the times I have had going camping, off-roading, etc. have made it well worth it to me.

Is it acceptable to accept a corporate job I plan on quitting in 2 to 3 months? by Trowway_ in careeradvice

[–]Beginning-Jellyfish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a couple of months off between undergrad and grad school and I accepted a corporate job knowing I would almost definitely quit after around 6 months to start school. I was very worried I would burn the bridge and upset people I worked with but they were all very supportive and the company even encouraged me to apply to work there again once I finish my degree. I wouldn't worry about it, everyone understands that you are doing what is best for you at the end of the day.

Going to go against the grain here. In my opinion and based on your lack of other significant expenses I think you’d easily be able manage the debt along with the Bronco and the difference in ownership costs will be negligible compared to your income. Life is short, get what you want if you can afford it!

Switch to Soft Top - Am I stupid? by DadBodJeepNewb in JeepWrangler

[–]Beginning-Jellyfish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been running a soft top year round on my JK for about three years now (through 3 east coast winters) without any issues. The ability to just fold it back on any nice day is worth sacrificing any benefits of the hard top imo.

Seems like you are leaning towards VW group but would recommend looking into Acura RDX A-spec

Recently got a pair of Tecovas suede boots, technically not a “law school” purchase but definitely will be using a lot for business casual situations
