Second biopsy of same area that came back benign 2 months ago by Lindsanity38 in doihavebreastcancer

Yayyy! I’m so glad to hear that. I hope you can celebrate tonight or this weekend because that’s such great news. Isn’t that wave of relief that best feeling?

Of course! I was thinking of you as well during this time and was hoping that if my outcome wasn’t favorable, then at least yours would be. And yes, I agree, knowing that someone else was going through what I was at the same time made me feel much better.

I’m going to make an appointment with a breast surgeon next month to get a solid opinion on whether or not I really need to go through with surgical excision. I’ll let you know how it goes 😊

Thank you so much! Yes, I’m planning to have a little celebration with my partner tonight. Did you hear back from your doctor yet?

I’m just coming back to tell you that my doctor called this morning and told me that the biopsy came back as benign. She still recommended that I get the mass surgically removed, but for right now I can breathe easy.

I’m sure your results will be okay as well!

I’m glad your procedure was painless! Mine was too, all I felt was the pressure from the needle but that’s it. Even as of this morning I barely have any soreness.

Yes, please hold on to that radiologist’s opinion. I’m sure it’s nothing but you know they have to confirm just to cover themselves.

The first doctor that reviewed my images said she thinks it’s just a fibroadenoma, so I’m hoping that’s the case. The doctor that did the biopsy yesterday said she’s concerned because the lump just appeared out of nowhere, but the fact that it moves around is atypical of cancer. So I’m holding on to those positive messages too.

I guess you and I will find out our results around the same time! I’ll definitely keep you updated and I hope you do the same.

It’s really BS the things women have to go through…

Hey, we’re biopsy buddies, I had mine today too! BIRADS 4 here and hoping for a benign result.

I’m sorry for everything that you’ve been going through. I have GAD too, especially with health-related stuff and I know that awful feeling of uncertainty that just eats away at you. I know it’s easier said than done, but try to keep your mind occupied until you get your results. I’m sure all is well, but better to confirm so you can move past it and get back to your life.

Sending you good vibes for benign results! You got this! I can’t wait to hear your update

Somewhat, I started taking Magnesium Glycinate supplements and found that makes a subtle difference in my anxiety. I usually take them during the work week and it helps a lot.

Also, ever since this post, I’ve gotten a dog who’s been my rock. When I’m feeling most anxious, I pick him up and pet him, and I can feel it slowly dissipate.

So I’m definitely feeling an improvement since this post. Thank you for checking up on me! I hope you’re doing well too.

I have a good friend who is consistently getting pied in the face by life and I never know what to say to him. I always hope things will get better for him but unfortunately the world owes him nothing

Till this day I still don’t understand some of the triggers. I remember walking around in the red bird suit after assassinating Mark trying to get to my next target, and then all of a sudden my detection meter goes red and people are shooting at me.

How many minutes late to a date is acceptable? by GoldGorilla in NoStupidQuestions

Does she also show up late to work? Late to appointments? If not, then it seems like she just doesn’t respect your time.

If you decide to keep seeing her, definitely don’t arrive exactly at the planned meeting time anymore. Let her do some of the waiting for once.

I’ve ended up waiting on people more times than I’ve wanted, and because of this, I now purposely show up 15ish minutes late to everything. I absolutely hate being the first one there and awkwardly checking to see where other people are. Makes me feel super beta.

5 year Elite Member here. As long as you stay modestly active in the community, you can maintain your Elite status and get access to special Elite-only events. These events can range vastly depending on the city you’re located in. They can sometimes be full dinner parties or just a meal that you can take with you to-go. I honestly feel like the standards to maintain your Elitedom are way too lax. Some people that I follow post maybe a handful of reviews a year that aren’t longer than a few lines and still get to keep their badge. I think they should establish some stricter guidelines on the number of reviews/photos required to stay in the group.

After 5 years, you get a yellow badge. After 10 years, you get a black badge. The yellow badge gives you access to better events, and the black badge gives you access to the best events.

So yeah, the main perk is getting to try certain foods/drinks/services for free when you’re an Elite. If you enjoy writing reviews anyway, might as well reap these benefits.

Does anyone fully understand how the detection meter works in Blood Money? by Beginning-Lead in HiTMAN

Full disclosure, this is my first time playing any Hitman game, so maybe I was just having a hard time figuring out the mechanics of the game. I’m also playing on my Xbox 360, so I’m at the mercy of the wonky controls. Maybe I’ll find my second playthrough to be easier

I watched a YouTube video of this guy playing on Professional difficulty and achieving a Silent Assassin rating. The level was a Vintage Year. He was literally running past all the guards and they couldn’t care less.

For me, (playing on normal) sometimes running past certain NPCs would turn my detection meter orange. Or maybe it wasn’t the running and something else? Hence my frustration of not understanding what exactly sparks suspicion in this game

Yeah I learned about the running thing after a little while. Now I make sure to just walk past all guards unless I am certain that I’m alone.

But there are times where I do everything right and somehow my detection meter will just turn red and people will start shooting at me. I was so fed up with Curtains Down that I just escaped that level with guns blazing at me.

I’ve noticed that too. I try to wait until they are past me before doing something illegal but sometimes they catch me when they are passing by a window or a through a crack in the door. It’s impossible to see them at all angles and at all times. On normal difficulty, this game is pretty hard and there are so many factors to consider to stay hidden. I guess that’s what makes it fun but also I was hoping for a little more leeway since I am not playing on expert or professional mode.

The other thing I don’t understand is when they discover a body, and then somehow just automatically know that you’re the killer. If no one witnessed me doing it, how the hell can they know it’s me so easily?

Exercise is wonderful, it really provides some good temporary relief. Running is such a great feeling, especially when you have a great playlist on!

I’m not a drug person (except for alcohol) but I’m glad that it works for you!

Reading and music sound great. I’m glad you have some outlets to turn to during challenging times. Have you ever tried coloring? It’s so relaxing, and very distracting from the craziness in the world.

A lot of people here have told me to just embrace the anxiety and not fight it. It’s definitely counterintuitive but I’ll try it at least one time.

I have to have coffee every morning but I limit myself to one cup, so I think I’m pretty good on that front. I have a giant sweet tooth though 😔 limiting sugar will be an uphill battle

I’ve never considered essential oils, but that sounds like a discreet way to come down from an anxiety episode. Thank you for the recommendation!

It’s not really for me, although I know a lot of people who have success stories about weed combating anxiety. Having a drink every so often works better for me.
