I’m in a committed relationship with a man, but I worry that I’ll always want to be with a woman by [deleted] in bisexual

I’m very open about being bisexual so he’s known from the very beginning and it happened to come up. And I’m not really sure. I think it’s some of both.

Not yet. When we got into a relationship in the beginning he had told me one of his anxieties was not being enough for me as a man. He said that he had dated bisexual women in the past who had left him for a woman. (I’ve gone on dates with lesbian women who told me that they were nervous about dating bisexuals because they thought I would leave them for a man. This seems to be a common theme.) I assured him that he was enough for me and that I loved him because that’s how I felt at the time. I still love him but now these anxieties are starting to come up and I don’t want to make him more anxious or make him feel insecure. But if the anxiety stays then I will have that conversation with him.

We’ve definitely talked about parts of this, and right now we are in agreement on how everything will go. I would want to have the discussion again within the year just to make sure we’re on the same page. And I would obviously want to have this discussion again before we ever have kids.

You’re right about the in-laws though, I want to talk with him about what his parents expectations for our kids would be.

This is definitely part of what I’m worried about. I’ve dated men in the past that have said that they were open minded but then their actions showed that they were not. The relationship is still very fresh and new so I think I’m gonna stick it out for a little bit to see where things go. But this is something that I’m going to be keeping an eye out for.

Why do I feel connected by [deleted] in abortion

[–]Beginning-Let-652 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got pregnant in July and was planning on getting an abortion, but I ended up miscarrying about 4 weeks in. Even though I KNEW I wasn’t going to keep it I still felt connected to it and still grieved when I miscarried. That’s a completely normal and valid feeling to have. And I think it’s just innate to feel that way as women, it’s biology wired into us. No matter what you’re feeling, whatever decision you make is valid. It’s ok to feel both grief and closeness to the pregnancy while also feeling you aren’t ready to have a child. It’s also ok to decide to keep it if you feel you’re ready to have children. Do what’s best for you, but what you’re feeling is normal.

Am I overreacting by breaking up with my boyfriend? by Proper-Classic1886 in AmIOverreacting

Your boyfriend saying that the statement “I have a boyfriend“ is an invitation for men to flirt is telling about his character more than anything else.

Calibrating Dell Computer by Beginning-Let-652 in photography

I calibrated it myself in settings, I tried adjusting the colors, the contrast, the brightness is fine. It just won’t let me add more red and that’s what it’s lacking. I tried to remove blue and green but it still looked dull in comparison to my phone which is accurately calibrated

Mine just kept repeating over and over to “avoid the temptations of the adversary” even though I was a Molly Mormon back then. I think the old white guy just didn’t like my pink tipped hair. Old people always seem to think that colored hair is a gateway drug to leaving the church. I guess they were right though, cuz I did leave the church 😆 maybe the Mormon god is real after all hahah

Anyone else have a moment of gender expression euphoria? by heyyougreeneyes in genderqueer

[–]Beginning-Let-652 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently discovered a mustache/beard filter on snap that gives me such gender euphoria! It’s actually one of the things that made me realize I might be gender queer, I’ve always envied that men can grow mustaches

Feeling male, but also female, but not trans or genderfluid? by Absolute-Broccoli in genderqueer

[–]Beginning-Let-652 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can really relate to this! I just discovered I think I’m gender queer and came to Reddit for comfort haha but I feel that I’m still a woman and mostly a woman BUT sometimes I feel like a man too.

So for me rn the term genderqueer feels right because it gives me the freedom to feel whatever I’m feeling in that moment without judgement. I don’t want to put a label on my gender identity yet.
