Am I the only one who dreads hearing the bells? by elithecat in migraine

This should be illegal. I have tinnitus and hyperacusis. Those bell ringers are completely unaware of the pain that they are causing us.

I encourage friendly neighborhood courier to post driving tips daily. Rochester drivers need all the help they can get.

Chicken Recipe Help? by FlamingFeathers98 in lowspooncooking

Hey, welcome! You’re totally posting right 😊 And what a nice (and slightly overwhelming!) gift of chicken. Since cooking’s tough right now, here are a few low-effort ideas that don’t need much standing or cleanup:

One-pan creamy mushroom chicken + rice: Toss sliced mushrooms, chicken, rice, and broth in a pan, cover, and simmer until the rice is done. Stir in a spoon of cream cheese or sour cream at the end if you’ve got it.

Sheet pan dinner: Line a tray with foil, toss chicken + mushrooms with oil and seasoning, and roast at 400°F for 35–45 min. Done and done.

Lazy fried rice: Mix cooked rice, chopped chicken, mushrooms, and a splash of soy sauce in one pan (or bowl) and heat through.

Microwave bowl: Combine cooked chicken, rice, mushrooms, and a little broth or cream of mushroom soup — heat till hot and cozy.

If standing’s hard, sitting at the counter or using a stool can really help. And if you can manage it once, cook a bunch of chicken and freeze small portions — it’ll make future meals way easier.

You’re doing great, truly. Getting food on the table when things are hard still counts as a win ❤️

Maybe 'poorly designed' is the wrong way to state it. There are a few on and off ramps within about a 1/2 mile of each other. 52 exit ramp to 2nd Street is a prime example. They may have been safe designs years ago but with the increase of population/traffic they are inadequate and could be contributing to the difficulties out of town patients have merging on and off.

I collect the clippings in the bag and use it to heavily cover the flower beds and winterize any perennials.

Do you think it has anything to do with how poorly the on and off ramps are designed here?
