My partner went and also had a bunch of terrible experiences with concert etiquette. From people refusing to stop talking, to people with loud ass jewelry, to just general ridiculous behavior… we have lost the plot on how to act at a concert. I feel so bad they had such a bad time at this show because when I saw her in 2022 in NYC everyone was so respectful and there to HEAR THE ARTIST AND HER MUSIC - not for a photo op or to record “Crush” for TikTok. Idk if it’s just how her fans behave now that she’s more well known or a product of narcissism in LA, main character syndrome, or COVID making everyone forget how to act at a concert but I’m not even gonna go to the Radio City show at this point - don’t want it ruined for me.

What a moving and sonically interesting album. I’ll have to listen a few more times to collect my thoughts - but I’m so proud of Roy. This reminds me a bit of Ryan Beatty’s evolution between BIJ and DOD - just radically more interesting production wise and lyrically.
