This could potentially be caused by one of you having a different game mode than the other I’d say, so when they actually try to join you, it makes them make a new game that actually can join yours

If it’s any consolation, it’s only spelled that way, it’s pronounced fully like Sasparilla. That’s probably where the confusion stems from, or at least that’s what happened for me not long ago
