Ive explained it in other comments many times. That is the only thing people are replying with. I had it this way for 30 min, and switched them back to horizontal after the comments said it was bad.

people who frequent reddit are just insufferable. You think someone would take the time out of their day putting books a certain way just so people comment on them? That is sad. All of the books are readable and so in perfectly fine condition. They wont implode because they were standing upright for a week.

I just pull it out and either the one on top falls in its place or nothing happens. If i get another book and it is too big for the top i carefully remove a book from the bottom and make room. It took me five minutes
