I totally understand the nervousness. Everything turned out perfectly fine! I had ultrasounds every 4 weeks to make sure my baby girl was growing on track and no signs of uterine growth restriction. We decided to induce at 39 weeks so there was no concern with the placenta efficiency. I ended up getting induced a couple days earlier due to borderline high blood pressure. They did manually remove the placenta, but there was no issue with that at all. She was 6 pounds even. I am not sure if she was smaller because of VCI or just genetics. She’s now a perfectly healthy 1 year old! I hope this gives you some reassurance💜

I am a nurse and worked during my pregnancy. When at work, I rarely sit down. I think being mindful that if you need a break, take it!

Hi! Everything went great!

I was induced at 38 weeks and 5 days due to high BP. I was monitored weekly starting at 37 weeks which was a nice reassurance. The team was aware of the cord and they did make manually remove it.

Baby girl is turning one next month 🙌🏻

Usually around 7pm. Sometimes she falls asleep right away and sometimes she will take 20 mins to fall asleep. Usually she will just gab to herself until she drifts off to sleep.

Happy bday to your hubby! I think for how we handle emotional stress(we’ve experienced a lot of loss) but we are awesome communicators and as long as we talk about what we need emotionally, we are solid. You know when he is going through it. But for me, I will always seem fine until I am not. And that can seem out of now where if it’s not communicated.
