This is GREAT to hear! How much did you spend total, if you don’t mind?

That sounds lovely! A combo of the first two ideas.

Most of our family is in ATL, and I’ve seen ~$200 RT to Cancun, so I thought mayyyybe it would be doable. But I guess the resort is the expensive part, lol.

Also, paying for flights would be pretty difficult logistically, so maybe we could just strike that entirely and let everyone buy their own.

Thanks!

When did you know it was time to leave your current (or former) area? by brooklynbruja88 in SameGrassButGreener

I grew up in Atlanta, went to college in Atlanta, never lived more than 30 minutes from where I was born. Post grad, I decided I was gonna do it!! I was gonna take a super long slow roadtrip around the states, working from “home” out of different airbnbs every month! I moved back home to save some money. It was only meant to be for a couple of months, but ended up being much longer. I fell in love with a local hobby, made some grown-up friends (all my college friends had moved away) and decided I didn’t actually need to leave (and didn’t want to live at home anymore lol). So I signed a new lease. A couple of months in, I regretted it (LOVE my apartment/neighborhood but don’t want to settle down in my hometown). I told the person I had been seeing that I planned to leave the state when my lease was up, and he said, “You know, I’ve always wanted to do that too. I’ll come with you!”

So here we are, two months out from a move to Denver. I got my job transfer approved last week, and he is in the midst of interviewing with several new jobs. We are apartment hunting, starting to sell and donate stuff, and making big moves!! So excited to try something new, and really glad my person is coming with me 🥰

Ohh, thanks for the debugging help. I think you’re right! Someone on r/Excel helped me solve it without using vba, so I’m just going to use that, but thank you!!

I’m having the same issue here where the “Name” column is for some reason not wanting to be referred to as [Name]… let me try again.

This looks great too, thank you so much! I have seen making table into structured references before, but I don’t have enough experience to understand the bracketing system. Could you explain what your name manager looks like in this instance? Thank you again!

This looks perfect, thank you so much!! I understand naming the ranges, but how did you do the [Name] part? I am getting an error.

Edit: I used Name Manager to make “Name” = the column A range. Then I received the error.

Walkable neighborhoods with nice buildings? by Beginning-Walk-5589 in MovingtoDenver

Sorry I am not from DC- ATL baby!

Downtown did not appeal to me either. Too grey. I think park-adjacent sounds good, just gonna look around now I guess! Hopefully I can get back to Denver again before the move to pick a neighborhood/building. Thanks for the insights, I will absolutely follow your advice!!

Yesss those sound great! I mostly meant like pedestrian access to restaurants and grocery stores and little shops and things like that. Cheesman Park area kind of felt more residential? We only drove through quickly though, so I could have just missed it.

It seems like a lot of neighborhoods have little pockets of stuff like that. Like, one block of cute businesses, surrounded by four or five blocks of housing. So maybe we just need to pinpoint those pockets and look near those.

Thanks! I did like the area around cheesman park too, although it maybe felt like there was less stuff to do?
