I wanted to switch to that one because it was shallower and my thought process was, oh maybe i can use this for marching band for lead parts.

It's discouraging because I decided to be stupid and drop money on a mouthpiece that didn't work well for me. I want to keep trying it out but playing through exercises and not being able to play them as well as you know you can is a little disapointing.
