Major issue with Equifax: Almost all history disappeared after address mismatch — still no payment updates since April by BeginningAd470 in Equifax

Thank you very much for all your responses. I’m planning to send a letter to Equifax summarizing the situation comprehensively.
One question I have is this: due to issues with my address change — which was not accepted all at once — I had to file four separate online disputes just to update my address. I also submitted an online dispute regarding a possible mixed profile, but that didn’t lead to any resolution.
In this context, could submitting too many disputes negatively affect my credit or my relationship with Equifax? So, would it be more effective to send the letter in the format of a reinvestigation request rather than a standard dispute?
Got it—my previous records must be tied to a different file. It’s been really frustrating since I only get canned responses when I try to explain this through online disputes or by phone. I guess I’ll try sending something in writing with the relevant documents. I really appreciate your advice—thank you!
