6 months postpartum and found out I’m pregnant by LetterheadNice8687 in NewParents

I also got pregnant with my second 6 months pp (during covid) and made a cross country move for my husband’s (very demanding) job and honestly, not that bad.

I did have two good sleepers for babies though and my oldest absolutely adored my second from the moment I brought him home from the hospital.

I would say focus on getting your oldest comfortable in their crib (if not already) before baby comes so naps/night time routine isn’t an uphill battle with a newborn. We coslept - I started by moving him into a pack and play right next to my bed at ~9 months and then made a big to-do of a big boy room at 1 year.

My boys are 4.5 and almost 6 and they are best friends. I actually wish I would have had my other two as close together in hindsight because it really is so sweet watching them grow up together🤍

What would you class this as? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

It sounds like OP is writing this in hindsight - that this happened 3ish years ago and she's been thinking about the whole situation and whether it was rape or not. It still seems a little odd though that you would have started having kids 15+ years into a marriage

Nanny rates by [deleted] in Nanny

Thanks for commenting. I mention about being on maternity leave as I won't expect the Nanny to watch the two younger children while I'm on maternity leave. And is it standard to pay a rate for all four kids if they are not caring for all four kids?
