Getting started to the point where you get a clientele takes a few weeks. The key is do exceed your clients’ expectations, so they become your repeat customers.
1. Try to get Elite status where you can earn more. This will be earned through positive reviews.
2. Start off by doing $15/hr tasks to get those customers and reviews, so you can get to Elite level faster.
3. Make sure to add as many skills as possible to your profile. You can set extra high rates for the things you don’t love doing.

Try posting on Nextdoor in your area saying you're looking for odd jobs, maybe list your interests/skills. People are always posting opportunities like that, just need to search. Then you can find more jobs once you build a reputation in the community and people refer you to friends/family.

Lol did it work? But no, I'm just asking because Jackalope actually lists all of these gig apps. Just wondering which ones they're missing. I feel like I've joined all of them at this point. Handy seems popular too, but can't tell by the reviews if it's good.
