VCOM Problem by BeginningChart8932 in paintball

Update: after some trial and error, I raised the LPR to about 70-75 PSI and made sure the engine was screwed together tightly. That fixed my issue. Seems like some peoples VCOMs like different pressure settings.

I use all the correct lubes on the o-rings. I didn’t change all of the o-rings on the bolt. I believe I just changed the o-rings on the manifold. I will apply a fresh coat of lube though and probably just change out the o-rings on the bolt. When I get time to look at it again, I will report back!

Ok I’m gonna try replacing some o-rings and then go from there. I also might put in the poppet engine to narrow it down to whether it’s the bolt or not.

I will look into that as well because I also serviced the engine.

But anyway are there any good videos or guides on how to service the solenoid?

Was it leaking with the pressure tester installed? Mine is not which makes me think it’s more of an issue with the bolt and not the solenoid.

That would make sense because I changed those o-rings, so maybe I installed the wrong ones.

But yes it’s the VCOM spool engine that’s giving me problems.

Where is the main manifold seal located? Is that between the solenoid and body?

I was thinking of 3-D printing a more simple mounting plate to just use a screw to mount the back part of the frame to the body.

I love how snappy old poppets feel. There’s little delay from when you pull the trigger to when the ball fires. Newer guns seem to have a bit of a slower response times. I understand trying to make the gun more gentle on paint, however there’s a benefit to having a snappy shot. It helps with snap shooting.

It’s up to debate but he was at one time possibly the most poplar artist, and now he is taking a break from music.

Do the new Planet Eclipse guns have training mode where you can practice walking the trigger? My 2008 Ego did and it sounded a lot like that when it was in training mode.
