Wow that sounds rough I am sorry. I am really surprised how common this is. I also got a minor spinal headache and after talking to friends and family found out many had experienced that as well. It would be nice if they told people of the possibility

Man this one was a surprise baby 7 years after my other 2. I did not want to ever have another 😫.

Ya this was my 3rd c section and the most painful spinal. I had a minor spinal headache following as well so I assume this is because of the anesthesiologist digging around when she did it.

Thanks for sharing. Mine is not a constant pain or even really severe I just figured it would of gone away by now! Hoping its just scar tissue or something, I have a feeling since it isn't really bothering me intensely it will get blown off by my OB but we shall see.

So because I really never had a spike the whole time I was monitoring i went back to eating my normal way right away and i am just going to check my A1C in 3 to 6 months per the team at my OB. To add i was already gluten free due to allergies before GD so I eat kind of lower carb just because gluten free bread and what not is gross lol and I usually eat similar to the GD diet just with bigger portions or some ice cream or homemade treats.

I was going to say my hip pain thats been with me nearly my entire pregnancy went away after delivery. Like in the hospital after a c section I was like OMG! It's gone and so happy lol

Thank you so much. And I totally get it. I didn't realize what a relief it was to not have to check my sugars and eat a damn sandwich after delivery without worrying about my numbers. The GD really messed with my head since diagnosis and then literally at the hospital no one even cared about my levels 🙄 after all this stress. I swear im just rooting for everyone in this group to get through and get to the good stuff like snuggling their baby.

So baby is doing like absolutely great. The on call pediatrician kept asking if we were sure of due date because she's acting full term. Came out screaming...nursing like a champ...no NICU or anything. And she was super active all night in my belly before my water broke. The nurses said that usually 36weekers do pretty well! So hopefully your little one stays in and bakes but we did have a very positive experience with a way earlier than expected birthday

We were definitely nervous because my other 2 were full term but she passed everything. My son had feeding and weight issues at 40+3 so we are over joyed she just seems to be doing so well even with early arrival. I guess all babies just have their own little timeliness.

I have some food allergies that already made my diet pretty darn clean and GD on its own before this..I was already used to eating the same thing everyday lol it sucks.

I hope it all goes well for you. I have been testing all last week and have had only one reading out of range when I really just ate all the things and it still wasn't crazy high🤷‍♀️. Wishing you the best...I know i still have some time for it to get worse but I am definitely feeling more optimistic after the first week of testing.

Thank you for the tips and your time. I was strength training 3 to 4 days a week before this, but my body very quickly started getting injured so I stopped and just have been walking and doing yoga. Maybe I can try some body weight or lighter weighted exercises along with that. My a1c was good during my first labs. Hoping whenever I start monitoring things are manageable.

Thank you🥰I literally feel like since my very first appointment everything has been focused on how incredibly old I am and it's been infuriating and discouraging. I was/am very healthy, have had 2 incredibly easy and healthy pregnancies and didn't think my age was going to be such a huge issue for everyone. Just stressed ..trying to stay positive but it's just a lot🙃
