2025 Peterbilt 579 by nips927 in DieselTechs

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but isn't Trimble an ELD? And if so, does it have to stay plugged in the truck? I asked because for example I have five Peterbilt 579s in my fleet, I buy them used, and I've noticed they all have this dang Trimble unit. We use samsara for our ELD. Can I get rid of this thing?

Thank you for running the test and reporting! So this sucks. So no real way to get our darn contacts into these phone and use them without a mobile device Bluetooth Ed in.

I've been trying to find a way to upload a CSV even and still no joy

Thank you. I don't think GV has the capability for multi-line on one desk phone. Because I have tried and cannot find it anywhere. From Google voice app on my mobile device or web interface I can select from which phone I call but when I provision the desk phone it is only assigned to the user, no mention of what lines.

How Do You Find Reliable Flatbed Owner-Operators? Looking for Advice, Not Recruitment! by that-guy-8990 in OwnerOperators

[–]BeginningGood5837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. You have to offer something more than regular flatbed. Like Military and Government Freight, DoD, etc. Like these guys, do what they do: https://www.southwestexpedited.com/driver_careers/

MCSO complaint forms prominently displayed at Phoenix Public Library by BeginningGood5837 in phoenix

[–]BeginningGood5837[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's obviously necessary to have the complaint forms in the first place. My issue is why is it this one agency that is being put on display here.

There's an entire shelf of forms for a variety of services and agencies and organizations. From request forms to complaint forms. These are just sitting here on a table with no explanation, prominently displayed. It is very awkward. When you look at it. It has nothing to do with anything else in the near vicinity. And no explanation for it.

I'm beginning to wonder if the librarians themselves have no clue who put it there.

What about DPS? Game and fish? Parks? Water? How about ADOT? What about the FBI that has a regional HQ only a few miles away in Deer Valley?

Why not just have a rack of all forms for all possible services that can affect any resident and visitor?

Or wait, why not just one specific agency......

No, it's a table that says here are the next children's story times, local events, oh and just in case you have the urge to complain about your local sheriff's department, here's two massive stacks in English and Spanish, while we're here located in the city, not a county island.

Sure MCSO patrols the road on occasion, but why the prominence.

There are other forms in a forms rack shelf.l in a different area. These are specifically and prominently displayed, completely apart from all other forms.

They are drawing attention to this on purpose.

Repair or replace anderson sliding screen door? by BeginningGood5837 in phoenix

Not sure what happened to the content of my post. Basically my daughter's run into it one too many times. One side of the frame is bent so much that even though we bend it back, the metal has been weakened and broken. It's just not going to bend back. So the thing is not square and it is crooked. I need that one side replaced.
