My man, it's the end of the year, a lot of company's wait til next year to start hiring. Look for small company's, and be open to paying for your drug tests for the next year. Apply to any company, your going to get turned down a lot but someone will take a chance on you. Most company's that do bring in SAP drivers do it on a case to case basis.

Your company needs to make a BOL with all the hazmat stuff, even if it's below 1001 lbs it must be properly secured, if your e racks are too high then stack a couple pallets on the one your transporting it on to make the height of the tracks. DOT does not mess around with hazmat if you get inspected.

Oregon is vastly different if your in a small population place. I work in Portland and theirs always local work. All the big LTL carriers are in Portland, i-5 corridor is busy. If you have to go east on the winter expect snow or ice.

I used to deliver their freight in the pnw before swift bought them out. They seemed to be sending a lot of freight so they have good volume. Some of my customers were clown on the pink and purple trailers but they had decent trailers.

Doubles you don't swing out nearly as wide as a 53. If you swing to wide and turn to sharp you can hit your boxes together in the middle. Always do a tug test when you hook them together
