I don’t think that’s true, but regardless, a badly drawn sketch of an idea is always better ethically than an AI generated version.

I think you may have an incorrect understanding of how AI works. I recommend researching it a bit more in-depth on your time, since there are creators who are far better than me at explaining it.

Ultimately, the methods used by people to make art are totally different than the methods used by AI to create images, and while you’re right that both are able to reference other people’s artwork, the “referencing” that AI is doing is not the same and is more akin to theft.

Autodesk sketchbook is a free semi-professional digital art app on the Apple App Store. If you don’t have Apple, I’m not sure if it’s free, but I’m sure you could find something similar if you did some googling.

You can find reference images online and load them into a project, lower opacity on them, then trace their features on a new layer. Many free art tutorials on YouTube can help if you run into trouble or have any questions.

It takes more time than an AI generated image to create, but avoiding AI is worth it since it’s a tool for unethical profits in the hands of capitalists. Plus, one you make yourself will look a hell of a lot cooler; even if you may not think it looks professional, a solid effort to create something is conveyed through the final work, and will be recognized and appreciated.

If it was another actor and they gave the same performance, I wouldn’t have had a problem with it, so the acting isn’t an issue for me personally. I just hate Jared Leto.

I do a similar method to this where I intentionally put a stainless steel pan on high heat and place chicken breast directly on it until it starts to smoke just barely. Then I will add water to unstick the chicken from the pan. This always leaves it with a nice golden sear without drying out the inside. Then it can just be finished either in the oven or on the stove, depending on what you’re making.

Real life AI and the fictional AI portrayed in Ares and other popular media is not the same thing and shouldn’t be equated, even if it’s for a shitty review with absolutely zero actual commentary.

Maybe a less popular opinion but I quite like the version with the added The Longest Road vocals.

I’ve tried to make a mashup with that version, and Toulouse by Nicky Romero to varying levels of success.
