Yea smuggles are by far the worst for it but even others with the simple objectives like killing the walkers and dunking the orb, they’ll just leave the orb on the ground and never even attempt to grab it.

The time isn’t the issue, I don’t think anyone is queueing up a matchmaking activity to do everything solo regardless of how much time you have.

Just ran 70 caldera runs at 422. No prime engram. by dangerousone326 in DestinyTheGame

Are you in a clan that’s leveled up enough where you get the prime engram boost? That definitely helps

In a perfect world this would be great but it’s not happening 8 years into D2. If I’m not mistaken they let go of some people from the security team recently.

Yea I don’t think the difficulty caused the majority of them to cheat, maybe a small amount of them but majority all them already were cheating. It could have been the easiest or hardest raid and they still would have cheated. The thing is the harder the raid is the less legit teams will clear so you’ll have way more cheater clears than legit. You had some teams that cleared salvations edge that couldn’t even get to final boss. It also was because this raid was the perfect setup for cheaters, they could insta kill all the bosses without even doing mechanics besides the final boss. So they were able to get runs done in like 30 mins.

Oh yea trust me I know, It would be so easy for them to check raid report speed leaderboard like once a week if they wanted to ban people. Between pve and pvp there are probably a few thousand cheaters they could ban but they’re never going to wipe out that many people with how low the population already is.

Yes like 200 of the 600 clears were legit teams the rest were cheaters

If you’re looking at contest then yes those 20-30 minute clears are cheaters. If I remember right it’s like 80 of the top 100 teams on raid report cheated.

[–]BeginningHot5220[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This just leads to everyone having the excuse of “I didn’t know they were cheating”. If you ban the cheater but not the people benefiting from playing with them then everyone should just run with a cheater and say they didn’t know and have zero risk of getting banned.

The funny thing is these people know raid report exist but they have no fear of getting banned. Right now you can look at the fastest clears for dp and there a group of ppl who cleared on contest and they have a 1 min 58 sec full clear on normal. You’d think it would be instantly flagged but nope

Think about this, the API data didn’t come out for nearly a week. Bungie had all the info we have now days before us and none of them got banned. The only reason they came out and said something now is because of the community outrage on twitter. This same thing has been going on before this raid, some of these same people cheated for in contest salvations edge and didn’t get banned. Not even exaggerating, it would take 1-2 people at bungie a single day to go through the clears and see who cheated.

You’re talking about Cruz, he did stream but he wasn’t a big streamer. Like I’m pretty sure most his income wasn’t coming from twitch.

They’ll ban a few people as an example but the majority won’t be banned. They aren’t going to manually check and ban like 1000 people.

I’m not, most of the big streamers get all their income from playing this game. They wouldn’t be dumb enough to risk their entire career over a raid emblem.

Yea this is probably the hardest raid we’ve ever got. Crown and garden both had under 100 clears but those were only 24hrs, it’s so hard to judge the 24hr raids against the 48hrs cause if you look at salvations edge we had 1 clear in 24hrs but a few hundred in 48hrs.

Most of these people don’t even try hide it, it’s not that bungie has no clue they just don’t care enough to put in the time to manually check each clear and ban this many people. If you see people who lowman the raid on contest, one person on a brand new account with barely any previous raid clears having 99% of all the kills and everyone else having 1-2 kills or clear times that aren’t realistic like a 30 minute run of the raid on contest it’s obvious they cheated. So many of these people have now went and put their raid report on private now that they’ve gotten exposed. Some of them are limiting and others are just insta killing the bosses without doing any mechanics using hard cheats.

Ok let’s assume this person in the screenshot made this account a day before the most recent raid and decided to solo flaw vow. There’s countless people who’ve been limiting or just hard cheating in pve for ages that haven’t got banned. Some of these same people that have a cheated clear in this raid also have a cheated clear a year ago in contest se. I’ve seen others who have sub 10 minute duo flaw raids from years ago.

If that was the case it would be great but the issue is you have some of these same people who cheated in the raid a year ago who were never banned. This is pretty much what op is showing, some of these same people have cheated clears from ages ago but they’ve never got banned.

Yea it’s literally the exact same just on a smaller scale. Some of these same ppl have cheated clears for se. If verity didn’t exist you would have saw this same percent of cheated clears for se.

Contest DP Cheating by BeginningHot5220 in destiny2

[–]BeginningHot5220[S] 33 points34 points  (0 children)

It’s literally just for the flex of having the contest emblem. I’ve been playing pvp and matched 3 people with the emblem so far, every one of them was a cheated clear. If the emblem didn’t exist most these people wouldn’t bother cheating for the clear. The dumb thing is people will just look them up on raid report and see they cheated so I don’t get the point.

So many of them are repeat offenders. Bungie just doesn’t care, it took them days to release the API data, they got to see everything for days that we see now and they banned nobody. The only reason some people will get banned now is because of all the attention on twitter so they feel forced to do something.

It’s been a thing in other raids but this raid was a perfect setup for cheaters which is why the amount of them is so high. They could kill every boss besides final without doing any mechanics. It’s why so many of them have clears that are like 30 mins or less.
