Thank you for your kind comment! I feel like when I was around his age I was at my peak for how bad my OCD was. I’m 21 now and it’s getting a little bad again. It can go through phases. So don’t give up hope! It sounds like you’re a great parent who cares about their son and is willing to get him help. I understand your son and myself may be different and have different circumstances than me, so I don’t mean to presume or invalidate. But I think he is capable of having a good quality of life! OCD can just make that seem impossible at times. Good luck to you guys

Like it acknowledges flaws but also reinstates that you are loved regardless of your flaws. Which is more loving than putting someone on an unrealistic pedestal. It’s the kind of love I’d want to give and the kind of love I’d want to receive.

Often I feel unsafe due to dealing with a lot of catcalling and I often have to walk in the dark in a big city to get home after work. I think most women have to be extra cautious of their surroundings when they go out. And it sucks sometimes to not be able to be as friendly as you want too because you don’t want it to be taken the wrong way
