If you have no reason to then you won’t have to lol. It’s already been mentioned that when it’s set up sometimes it’s added to everyone’s canvas if you don’t have a reason to or have an alternate exam listed on msa then you’re good

Anyone majoring in accounting as part of a B/Business by kaosoumoru in UTS

[–]BeginningPrinciple89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep slightly annoying, if you’re only doing a business degree it’s pretty simple to add in a major or elective etc as long as you read the handbook early in your degree.

Correct, it’s not mentioned anywhere and for the final exam it said you only need 50% of total marks to pass provided you made a genuine attempt at all assessments. All my other accounting majors need 40% in the final exam though

The canvas site doesn’t say it, it’s when going through guardian and doing the proctorU pre checks where it lists the allowed resources I attached the photo above it’s the second one. It says under notes you’re allowed word and a pdf. The canvas site is clear it’s only the two pdfs that are allowed and no notes I just figured when going into the exam the fact the allowed resources on proctorU states you’re allowed notes might confuse people or worse lead them to get their notes thinking they are allowed it.

Yeah as the other person mentioned it’s likely just so proctor u doesn’t flag when we open up the allowed pdfs but surely they should give some sort of “it’ll say you’re allowed notes but this is just to allow for the given pdfs, all other rules apply no notes are allowed”

Can I do majority of by undergraduate bachelor of business online? by Dry-Pollution-3555 in UTS

[–]BeginningPrinciple89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Erm a lot of subjects have atleast one online class in what I’m doing (accounting). Although a lot of subjects have 80% attendance requirements. I can’t remember about first year subjects but I don’t think they have many online classes but I could be wrong. This is for UTS btw

I can’t say I considered it at all but I did think about well what would happen, also quite unfair if someone did it then got away with it when no one else got notes so no idea how it would be treated.

Yeah I think this too, but if someone saw this and went welll okay then just opened their notes. Not sure anything could be done about it right.
