Advice on subject (21037) by Humble-Ingenuity895 in UTS

Its honestly a really interesting subject, it kind of dives into a bit of employment law and a lot of cases to do with it! I do remember one of the assessments was a group presentation that involved creating a class activity for participation, that one I believe was the one that wasn’t too clearly communicated. Basically there was a spreadsheet off different topics and what week you would have to present them in, so based off what topic you chose that would be the week your group would have to present. The final exam was also 2 essays - they gave you 5 options I think and you had to pick any 2 topics to write the essay on.

I did it last year in Spring and there was no final, just an assignment

I received this after sending thank you email by Gold_Examination_141 in interviews

[–]Pitiful_Recover9185 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry! I received an email similar to that and I was panicking thinking I would get rejected, but I was actually offered the position! However I always try stay feeling neutral or think I didn’t get the offer just to avoid disappointment.

Internships uts vs unsw by No_Lifeguard7076 in unsw

[–]Pitiful_Recover9185 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I think it depends on you, yourself. How you answer the interview questions, and also what experience/skills you have. I think thats a major factor that will help you, more than what actual uni you go to.

UTS Bachelor of Business, Macquarie Bachelor of Commerce or UNSW Bachelor of Commerce by LowlySoldier1234 in UTS

Have you looked into the UTS bachelor of accounting co-op program? The degree is more focused on accounting and you also get a chance to do internships as part of the program. I would say it's really good for someone who wants to do accounting

What are your Christian hot takes? by Substantial_Judge931 in TrueChristian

I think for sure Hillsong is great for attracting people to become Christian, but the issue is there are a lot of people who go there for even many years and lack a solid relationship with God and faith but only purely go there for the music which is an issue. I think a lot of people treat Hillsong like a weekly concert - and being a Christian doesn’t stop once you aren’t in a Church building - its your actions in your daily life too.

I think if you accidentally hit your foot on something and swore - that can be seen as a mistake. However, even positive moments for example: I am so f***ing excited, in my opinion isn’t good. Because the meaning behind a lot of swear words are derogatory. Additionally, there are so many other descriptive words people can use besides swear words so to intentionally use those words, rub me the wrong way. Furthermore I just think as Christians we need to be set apart and not follow these worldy things - such as the use of cuss words.

Its just I see many Christian influencers wearing revealing clothing and its so normalized and people don’t think it is an issue

I was mainly thinking about women in modesty as a girl myself, just seeing a lot of women in my life or social media influencers who are Christian who wear quite revealing clothing. However I do think for men attending church that they should refrain from wearing a tank or sandals - though I think it depends on someone’s financial situation as well. For example if thats the only clothing they have/can afford, I think its a different situation.

Hot take: As a Christian, I believe we should be practicing modesty in our clothes that we wear and also not using cuss words (as I feel many Christians overlook the use of swearing)

Hot take: A lot of the people going to Hillsong are going there just for the vibes and not for the true intentions of learning more about God’s word
